AccountTraders.com provides a Twitter-account appraisal service to the public. Enter the username of a Twitter account, and we'll let you know the fair market value of that account.

How do you come up with your appraisal values?

We compare aspects of the account (such as the number of followers, the age of the account, etc) to a historical record of Twitter accounts that have sold in the past. Our appraisals show our best-guess for the price that a particular account would sell for in an open marketplace.

How do I sell my account?

According to Twitter's Terms of Use and the Twitter Rules document, you must receive express written permission from Twitter Inc. before you attempt to sell your account. Once you have received permission, you can sell it however you want, to whoever you want. Our appraisal tool is intended to show you the fair market value of your account if and only if you received permission from Twitter to sell it.

Can I sell my account to you? Will you buy it?

No.

Why is my Twitter profile on this site?

If your Twitter profile appears on this site, that is because someone came to this site and queried your username. We generated an appraisal report based on that request, and that report is, as such, publicly visible. If you do not want your profile to appear on this site, just click the "Remove my Profile" link at the top of the page to remove it now.

I removed my profile but it still appears in Google search results. Why is that?

Once your profile has been removed from this site, please allow a few weeks for Google to re-crawl the page and update their search results. Please note that we do not have the power to force Google (or any search engine for that matter) to update their results any faster than normal.
